A street mystical performance was shown on Rynok Square in Lviv

On the Independence Day, Lviv hosted a street mystery performance “Per aspera ad astra”. The performance, which combined poetry, music and lanterns made of vine and paper, was presented to Lviv residents and guests by the Khvylya artistic association.

During the performance, the founder of Khvylya, Mykola Naboka, recited poems by Kharkiv poet, musician and military man Oleh Kadanov in musical interaction with bandura player Volodymyr Voit.

In addition, the participants of the performance “brought to life” paper lanterns in motion, thus immersing the audience in the world of mystery. The lanterns also served as symbols of the confrontation between the light of hope and the darkness of war. They were created in collaboration with foreign actors Noé Faurissier, Pierre Moulier, and Jonathan Ben-Shaul.
