“HotArtHall” gallery continues the “Ukraine after 24.02” project with an exhibition of W.A.R. graphics by Yura Kama. Lviv residents and guests of the city are invited to the opening.

Yuro Kam is a graphic artist from Lviv. The artist is fascinated by natural phenomena and creatures, and conveys this through his graphics. This exhibition is the second stage of his reflections on the invasion of Russia. His first reflections have already managed to visit exhibitions in Lviv, Krakow, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Valencia.

As part of the W. A. R. exhibition, 22 works will be presented in the “HotArtHall” gallery. All written images are symbolic in nature. For example, the depicted butterfly represents Ukrainian partisans, who effectively operate behind enemy lines. Or the image of a mosquito symbolizes an occupier who robs someone else’s property.

In abstract forms, the artist depicts sirens, shelling, anti-aircraft defense, harvesting, counterattack, as well as the fear of a possible nuclear attack.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the “HotArtHall” gallery (1 Kushevycha St.). Entry to the event is free.
