They were treated with a brush, color and paints – the Drohobych community continues to support family members of fallen soldiers. The Drohobych City Center for Social Services takes care of them. The center’s staff regularly organizes art therapy classes, workshops, and meetings with psychologists.
Recently, members of the psychological support group for mothers and wives of fallen heroes became active participants in an art therapy class “The Art of Drawing Flowers” organized and conducted by specialists from the Art School and the Psychological Service. The creative event took place at the Gallery of Contemporary Art. For several hours, the participants created flower arrangements, were inspired by each other’s works and restored their inner resources. According to the Center’s experts, such classes provide an opportunity to express oneself, stabilize one’s inner world and reboot. After all, “often hands know how to unravel what the mind is struggling with,” the Center’s experts add.
