Very recently, a house from the beginning of the 20th century was moved and rebuilt in the state historical and cultural reserve “Tustan”. from the village of Plavya – a Boyki house with unique carvings

And again a sensation! The other day, under the roof of the aforementioned house, Lviv researchers found the Decalogue of the OUN – 10 commandments of the Ukrainian nationalist. It was found back in the summer, but due to the age and fragility of the paper, it was possible to open and decipher its contents only at the end of 2023. The paper had been folded many times and was very fragile. The note lay under the roof for about 80 years and it was almost impossible to decipher what was written on it.

“This case confirms that when dealing with a historical building, even if it is a rural house, it is very important to preserve its context. Now there are a lot of old houses in villages and towns, they are dismantled and they don’t pay attention to such things, they just throw them in the trash. When we talk about the preservation of a historical building, it is important to preserve not only the walls, but also to examine during the dismantling and restoration everything that is there. This is important for history and society, and also enhances the future communication of this structure….

It turned out that the full text of the Decalogue of Ukrainian nationalists was written in pencil on one side of the paper.

On the other hand, there are signs of a person’s character in the female gender: brave, pious, thrifty, etc.,” said Andriy Kotlyarchuk, director of the reserve.
