The Sokalshchyna Museum of History and Local Lore, together with the district organization of the Union of Ukrainian Women, organized an interesting Easter egg making workshop for students of Sokal School #2 and student government leaders, conducted by Iryna Mandryk, an Easter egg master and member of the Union of Ukrainian Women.
Most of the children were holding Easter eggs for the first time, so it was very interesting and informative to learn about the art of Easter egg making.
The master skillfully helped them to paint, choose colors, and introduced them to traditional and rare Easter egg patterns. It is important that the event was held in a museum. The children had the opportunity to get acquainted with new exhibitions, works of Sokal craftswomen.
We sincerely thank Ms. Iryna for the journey into the world of Ukrainian customs and traditions.
