The day before in Uhnov, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the project “MODANA HUSTKA” was implemented
The goal is popularization and promotion of local Ughniv culture, in particular, kerchiefs in the Ughniv “chub”.
With the participation of representatives of the authorities, scientists, historians and residents, the Belz city council held a scientific conference on the topic: “MODANE HUSTKA” in order to develop the economic and tourist development of Ugnivshchyna and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Belz region.
An art exhibition was held within the conference. Those present had the opportunity to see reproductions of ancient Ugniv handkerchiefs, the size of which, like the originals, was 4 square meters. and the style of Ugniv townspeople of the beginning of the 20th century, which were depicted on photo stands.
Also, during the day, amateur teams of the Belz region presented their talents and traditions. Mystkini conducted a master class on tying a scarf into a “bang”. Because a scarf is fashionable!
