Updated library spaces were opened in two communities of Lviv Oblast

Libraries actively cooperate with youth, children, People’s Houses, and cultural institutions.

November 22 and 24 in the village Dovgoluk of Grabovetsko-Dulibivska village council and in the village The leaders of the Shegynivska village council opened updated library spaces as part of the “Model of a modern library” project.

Libraries actively cooperate with youth, children, People’s Houses, and cultural institutions. Master classes, classes with elements of creativity, art meetings, various literary and entertainment events are systematically held here. Libraries maximally involve young people in national-patriotic, sports and other events aimed at raising a healthy, conscious citizen.

“New standards are, first of all, updated spaces, modern forms of work, interesting and useful for community members. In the Lviv region, there is a huge network of libraries and public houses, where you can arrange the appropriate spaces. This format helps transform the library from a repository of books into an epicenter of culture and creativity, into an open space for the development of the individual and the community as a whole.

It is extremely important that the children of Lviv Oblast have a rich extracurricular. After all, children should have the product that is available today – a modern library with a new, beautiful room and the opportunity to spend quality time here, in particular. That’s why every community should have a high-quality library, where a child can do something interesting for himself,” said the head of Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi.

Current repairs were made in the libraries and furniture and equipment were purchased: in particular, racks, tables, a children’s modular corner, a projector, a screen, a printer, a computer, and multimedia equipment.
