Heads of institutions talked about projects or works, the implementation of which requires support from the regional budget, and shared plans for preparing for the heating season.
Yesterday, September 5, a meeting was held in Lviv OVA under the leadership of the profile deputy head of the regional administration Ivan Sobko with the directors of regional cultural institutions.
During the meeting, they discussed the preparation of institutions for the new fiscal year, in particular, the priority issues that need to be resolved before the approval of the project of the regional budget for the next year – the implementation of works that are necessary for the life support of institutions, new development projects, compliance with accessibility and barrier-free requirements, and as well as the staffing of staff paintings.

The meeting was also attended by acting Andriy Bilous, head of the management of jointly owned property of the Lviv Regional Council, Iryna Havrylyuk, director of the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the OVA, and Tetyana Plugator, deputy director of the department.
As Ivan Sobko, deputy head of the Lviv OVA, noted during the meeting, within 10 days, heads of regional cultural institutions must submit staff lists with updated positions and the number of employees that meet the institution’s current needs for consideration by the department.
“The new staff lists will be re-approved by the management of joint property of the regional council and the department for culture, nationalities and religions. Submit proposals and justify if you need a new position in the staff list – it can be a project manager who will be responsible for the development of new projects and ideas, or a psychologist, given that many therapeutic activities for children are held in cultural institutions during martial law and adults, etc. At the same time, we ask you to review outdated or irrelevant positions,” Ivan Sobko emphasized.
Acting Andrii Bilous, head of the joint property management of the ENT, added that when forming a new staff list, it is also important to take into account the positions for employees who are responsible for maintaining the premises of institutions in proper condition, taking into account the requirements for architectural monuments, energy saving measures, etc.
The managers were also stressed on the importance of maximum provision of barrier-free accessibility and accessibility, fire safety measures and alternative sources of electricity to ensure uninterrupted operation of facilities in case of emergency shutdowns at power plants.
Ivan Sobko also noted that before the regional budget project is approved, heads of cultural institutions should submit to the department proposals for new strategic projects that will be interesting and developmental, for their inclusion in the cultural development program of the Lviv region for the next year.
Let’s add that representatives of 12 regional cultural institutions took part in the meeting today. A meeting will be held today, September 6, with the heads of another 12 institutions of regional subordination.
