A new art location is opening in Lviv – Ya Gallery Black, where the name itself reflects the main idea of future exhibitions. The official opening of the space will take place tomorrow, June 17.
In this art center, black unites different ideas and different artists. Ya Gallery Black allows you to look at their works from a common point of view – color and encourages a conversation about black. Black sculptures, paintings, books and other art objects…
In addition to the black color, Ya Gallery Black professes accessibility. It begins with the absence of stairs and corridor labyrinths. The space is grounded, literally and figuratively. This trend is picked up by window-cells for exhibits, facing the street, the tram junction and the flow of people. It is designed so that every passer-by can see that the art is open to the world.
“Art invites to see more. We invite you to see more. We invite you to the conversation, which has only just begun”, – it is noted in the new space.
