The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain James Cleverley came to Lviv

The head of the British Foreign Ministry visited the rehabilitation and prosthetics center in the Lviv community, and together with the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadov, paid respects to the fallen at the Memorial to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and walked around Rynok Square.

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth of Nations and Development of Great Britain James Cleverley also got acquainted with the construction of the NEZLAMNI rehabilitation center in Lviv. And at the end of the visit, he left an entry in the Honor Book of the city in the office of the Mayor of Lviv.

“It is a great honor for me to be in such a beautiful city, which is so actively developing medicine and rehabilitation. It is extraordinary: to see how quickly plans are implemented. This is a city that thinks about the future and about the people in it,” said British Foreign Minister James Cleverley.

He also added that this visit gave him many realizations and insights, which he plans to share during the international conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will be held in London this month.

The mayor of Lviv thanked the British for the visit and the help that the British government has already provided to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian enemy.

“We thank you – our victory is possible only thanks to our joint work and the help of reliable friends,” concluded Andriy Sadovy.

Both before and after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the United Kingdom actively supports Ukraine in its fight against the enemy, including demining Ukrainian territory and helping to rehabilitate veterans.
