She visited two educational institutions of the region.
First Lady of Poland Agatha Kornhauser-Duda is on an official visit to Lviv region. Today, April 21, she, together with the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, visited the Mostysky Lyceum No. 3 named after the Holy Queen Jadwiga. There, children learn both Ukrainian and Polish languages.
“The fact that the teachers of the school really strive to interest the students and share their knowledge and experience is very pleasing. The management of the institution is very responsible in raising children, instilling in them the best traits. I know that two of your graduates are now defending Ukraine at the front. Risking their lives, they protect the sky above our heads. Thanks to them for that! Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Poland has been trying to help every Ukrainian in trouble in every possible way. As long as your fight continues, we will support you. After all, everyone can contribute to the victory, with joint efforts we will build a free and civilized society,” said Agatha Kornhauser-Duda.
The First Lady of Poland visited an open lesson of the Polish language and literature, toured the educational institution, talked with teachers and students, and handed them gifts and textbooks. In addition, the school choir “Mostisky Nightingales” performed for the guests.
“Unfortunately, one of the happiest and carefree periods – childhood – was taken away from our children. Now they have to face the horrors of war – sirens, shelling, the death of relatives and friends. An absolutely unjust and unjustified war took the lives of many small Ukrainians, took the lives of thousands of our people. We will always remember how much the Polish side is doing in this difficult time. You sheltered those children who were fleeing the war, gave them a home and faith in the future,” emphasized the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
Together with the First Lady, State Secretary of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Dara, General Director of the Foreign Policy Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Maciej Krasinski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cihotski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Holy See (Vatican) Adam visited the Lviv Region together with the First Lady Kwiatkowski. The international delegation also inspected one more school in Mostysk – the Stryletsky institution of general secondary education of the I-II levels, they were accompanied by the General Consul of the Republic of Poland in Lviv, Eliza Dvonkiewicz.
