Today, the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovych, paid a visit to Lviv

Today, the state and political figure, President of Croatia 2015-2020 Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovych visited Lviv City Hall. The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, presented the guests with the construction project of the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center and told how the rehabilitation of Ukrainian veterans is taking place today.

The UNBROKEN project is my life’s work, it is something we are actively working on. Unfortunately, there are many wounded, and their number is increasing every day. It is necessary to build a whole infrastructure in order not only to treat, but also to help our soldiers return to life. Therefore, we are building a whole system that should work for this. This system provides rehabilitation – psychological, through art, through sports. We will make prostheses, because there is an urgent need for this. It is necessary to take care of the women and children of our Heroes. There is a lot of work. That’s why different experiences and different help are very important for us,” Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy emphasized.

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovych noted the importance of the UNBROKEN project and emphasized the support and cooperation with Ukraine and Lviv. According to her, Lviv is currently doing very cool things. Instead, their government’s biggest mistake after the war was simply giving veterans a pension instead of serious quality rehabilitation.

“I am ready to help as much as possible so that Ukraine does not repeat this mistake,” added Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovych
