The new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania was officially presented in Lviv

Natalia Antonova was appointed to the position.

On September 12, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the appointment of Natalia Antonova to the post of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Lviv.

The event was held in the circle of distinguished guests, General and Honorary Consuls of foreign countries in Lviv, in particular Poland, Kazakhstan. Valdemaras Sarapinas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, joined in the greetings.

Natalia Antonova was born in Strya. She graduated from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, with a master’s degree in psychology.

“I want to thank the Republic of Lithuania for the trust. The Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Lviv has been operating for 22 years. It was the first consular institution in this city. For me, this is a great responsibility to both countries. I will do everything possible to implement successful international projects, strengthen Lithuania’s ties with Ukraine, with Lviv,” Nataliya Antonova emphasized.

The new Honorary Consul will take care of the development of trade, economic, cultural, scientific, tourist and other relations between Lithuania and Ukraine, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of Lithuania, its individuals and legal entities on the territory of the consular district.

“Only true friends of Ukraine could raise funds for Bayraktar in three days. We thank Lithuania and its people for what they have done and continue to do for us in the defense, political, economic and humanitarian spheres. We will always be grateful for that. And I wish Ms. Natalya fruitful work in the diplomatic field”, – stressed the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

We will remind, on May 16, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine officially handed over the exequatur to the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Lviv – Natalia Antonova.
