According to the information of the transport department of the LMR, on the day of remembrance – November 1, the operation of the transport that runs to the cemeteries will be increased. In turn, the mayor’s office calls on residents to clean the graves of their relatives. However, he emphasizes not to bring artificial flowers to graves.

“To make it easier for citizens to get to the burial places of their relatives and loved ones, the work of public transport that runs to cemeteries will be strengthened.

Thus, the number of trolleybuses on route No. 31 to the Sykhiv cemetery will increase to 4 units.

The number of buses on route No. 55 will increase to the Goloskiv cemetery,” the transport department reported.

In turn, the mayor’s office calls on residents to clean the graves of their relatives. However, he emphasizes not to bring artificial flowers to graves.

“Our communal services, under whose authority the cemeteries are located, are preparing for memorial days. Their main task is to ensure that the paths are cleaned, garbage is removed, containers are clean, so that there is no garbage on the territory,” said Iryna Marunyak, deputy mayor of Lviv for housing and communal services.
