Near the hospital on the street Pylyp Orlyk in Lviv is being equipped with a parking lot and a “serpentine” walkway for people with reduced mobility

As part of the reconstruction of St. Pylyp Orlyk, active work continues near the children’s hospital, where a “serpentine” track for people with reduced mobility is being built, as well as a large parking lot

Last year, a new walkway with steps was laid instead of the old path on the slope near the medical facility, where these works are ongoing. The length of the constructed sidewalk is about 120 m.

Currently, a “serpentine” path for people with reduced mobility is being built on this site, with a total length of about 420 m. It remains to pave a section of this walkway with a length of more than 100 m, where an entrance from the street has been arranged. Pylyp Orlyk to the medical facility.

At the foot of the slope, construction of a parking lot for more than 60 cars is underway. On Saturday, June 10, the contractor laid the first layer of asphalt. In the coming days, the finishing layer will be laid.

As for the slope itself, it is necessary to complete the landscaping works, as well as carry out landscaping, in particular, to plant about 50 trees.

On the final direct installation of lighting poles – 26 poles out of 33 are currently installed. It remains to equip 20 benches with trash cans on the slope along the “serpentine” track with tactile tiles, as well as install handrails.
