Two large machine-building enterprises are moving to Lviv region

Two large machine-building enterprises are relocating to the Lviv region: Kramatorsk Heavy Machine-Tool Plant from Donetsk and Pozhmashina from Chernihiv Oblast.

This was announced in a Telegram by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytsky.

“We are the first in Ukraine to relocate two giants of the machine-building industry at the same time. The first enterprise is Vitroparky Ukrainy LLC, part of the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant PJSC group of companies, which has created a modern full-cycle production facility. And Pozhmashina is an enterprise that has been operating for 90 years. Is a leader in the market of fire, specialized and agricultural machinery. This is a reliable partner of the SES of Ukraine, “Kozytskyi wrote.

The head of the OBA noted that the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant designs, builds, installs wind turbines, generates and supplies electricity. The Kramatorsk company makes the most of Ukraine’s energy potential.

In addition, a third of the Pozhmashina plant is being relocated from the Chernihiv region to the Lviv region. After the war, they plan to leave part of the production. And also start the production of trucks, which will create new jobs.

It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, 79 enterprises have been relocated to the Lviv region, 32 of which are already operating.

“Those who want to move and work continue to contact us. The Investment Policy Department of Lviv OVA has already processed 347 applications for the relocation of production facilities, “Kozytskyi added.

It will be recalled that the state business relocation program, which provides for the relocation of enterprises to safe regions of Western Ukraine, has no restrictions on the type of activity. Currently, enterprises are being relocated to one of the nine regions (Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Volyn and Rivne regions).
