As of August 31, the company “Lvivgaz zbut”, operating under the brand “TVIY GAZZBUT”, has already returned to household consumers 4 million 561 thousand hryvnias of overpayments and erroneously paid funds for consumed natural gas.
“Payments for customer claims are ongoing daily and we are making every effort to expedite the process. However, the total number of appeals greatly affects the time of consideration of applications. There are many of them, and accordingly the “queue” is long. All of our retail managers are currently involved in the overpayment refund process. They spend 90 percent of their working time on this. The remaining 10% is taken up by working with debtors who owe almost 1.9 billion hryvnias for gas consumed until May 1, 2022,” explained Pavlo Maik, director of Lvivgaz Sales LLC.
Occasionally, the company asks clients to be more careful when submitting documents, as many applications are returned for “correction” if they lack important copies. There are also cases when the consumer has already received an overpayment, but due to his inattention, he pays for gas not to the new supplier, but to the details of Lvivgaz Sales LLC – and repeated applications are received.
We would like to remind you that from May 1, 2022, household customers of Lvivgaz zbut LLC were automatically transferred to the “supplier of last resort” (PON), whose function is performed by Naftogaz of Ukraine.
