At the invitation of partners from the Water4Ukraine initiative, at the end of June, representatives of Lvivvodokanal visited the international exhibition “E-World-2022”, which was held in Germany. The main task of Lviv residents at the exhibition is to draw more attention to the problems with water supply in Ukraine, to raise funds for the needs of Ukrainian water utilities and to establish international relations.
“At the exhibition in Essen, we represented the entire water market of Ukraine. We spoke in detail about the situation in Ukraine and the damage caused by the war to the water infrastructure. The topic of Ukraine found a very deep emotional response from the participants of the event, which are the largest energy giants in Europe.
Thanks to our participation, we managed to generate much more humanitarian aid than we received before. We have established productive contacts with the main energy giants, which are ready to help us,” said Dmytro Vankovich, director of Lvivvodokanal LMKP.
According to him, “E-World-2022” is the leading exhibition in the energy sector for the whole of Europe. As an information platform for representatives of the energy industry, the exhibition brings together in Essen every year people who make important decisions regarding the energy sector of the whole of Europe.
“During the exhibition, we had many useful meetings with our German partners. The most important were the meetings with Ms. Katarina Reiche, SEO of the German company “E.ON” and representatives of the company “Uniper”. These companies have promised help and support for our project,” Volodymyr Bilynskyi, deputy director of Lvivvodokanal LMKP, said.
