PJSC “Ivano – Frankivskcement” is interested in the purchase of RDF fuel, which will be produced by a waste processing plant in Lviv. This was reported by LKP “Green City”.
At the end of last week in the village of Yamnytsia, a meeting was held between representatives of LKP “Green City” and PrJSC “Ivano – Frankivskcement” (brand “IFCEM”), where they agreed on mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of RDF fuel. During the visit to the production, they signed the corresponding protocol on intentions. During the meeting, they discussed the technical component of RDF fuel and the possible capacities of its supply,” – noted in LKP “Green City”.
As a reminder, the alternative RDF fuel will be a product of the mechanical and biological processing plant of exceptionally safe solid household waste.
In addition, a waste processing plant is being built on the street. Plastova, 13. As of the beginning of April, it is 25% ready. Construction works are carried out by the Polish company Control Process S.A.
The future plant will be able to process 250,000 tons of waste per year. This is the amount of waste currently collected in Lviv. If more power is needed, the technology will allow it to be provided.
