As of November 3, hourly or emergency power outage schedules have not been implemented in Lviv Oblast

The situation is dynamic and can change throughout the day – depending on our consumption and the actions of the enemy.

This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

Use these tips to prepare for possible outages

A few more important points:

If the power supply is turned off, unplug the devices from the sockets so that they are not damaged due to voltage drops. Lvivoblenergo experts also recommend installing a voltage relay or a protective shut-off device to additionally protect electrical appliances and the electrical wiring system.
After the power supply is restored, turn on the power supply gradually – start with devices with low power. Vacuum cleaners, washing machines, heaters and other powerful appliances are recommended not to be turned on in the first hours of power restoration.

“If we have to resort to shutdowns, I will inform you as soon as possible. It will also be reported on Lvivoblenergo resources. I would like to remind you that the instruction to enter schedules can come from NEC “Ukrenergo” – NPC Ukrenergo at any time. It is impossible to predict when it will happen. It depends on the balance in the country’s energy system. We have to go through these restrictions with understanding,” Maksym Kozytsky emphasized.
