The grand opening of the complex will take place in the spring together with the start of new Alterra Group projects.
The developer Alterra Group has completed the construction of a large-scale project in Lviv. The company commissioned all lines of the Port Logistics Center with an area of 48,000 square meters. m.
It is noted that the construction of the center began on June 16, 2021. During the war, Alterra accelerated the pace as much as possible so that Ukrainian entrepreneurs could settle in new premises and resume work as quickly as possible.
“We set ourselves challenges, did not stop and moved forward,” says Dmytro Kovalchuk, founder of Alterra Group. – Increased the number of workers at the construction site to two hundred people daily. They planned to build the seventh line with an area of 12,353 square meters. m. for six months – and kept their word. Construction materials were taken from the territories where hostilities were taking place, during the full-scale war, four stages of construction were put into operation, and this is 37,590 square meters. m. We did not betray our principles and created a beautiful logistics complex that looks even better than on the layout.”
Today, the Port is full of life: users are already working in full, finishing works are being completed on the site, landscape design with an artificial lake is in the final stage. The grand opening of the complex will take place in the spring together with the start of new Alterra Group projects.
“For our company, Port is the first project of this scale. It was to a certain extent risky, since no one had previously implemented such a format for us, – said Dmytro Kovalchuk. – The facility was created based on the needs of the market, and this hypothesis worked one hundred percent. The market responded with money: today almost all the space in PORT has been sold or leased.”
The founder of Alterra Group added that the company has already assessed the structure of demand in more detail during the implementation of the project and plans to continue the construction of the Center: “We proved that Lviv needs the Port, so we hope that soon this metaphor will be useful to other cities of Ukraine and Europe. This year, Alterra Group is opening representative offices in Poland and the Czech Republic, and is also preparing another major project in Lviv.”
The Port logistics center is designed as a complex with well-thought-out infrastructure, high construction standards and modern architecture. The concept combined four warehouse logistics terminals, shopping areas with transport accessibility and parking lots, an innovative business center, a supermarket, pharmacies, food establishments and green areas. The Port is conveniently located next to the main transport arteries connecting Lviv with other cities of Ukraine and EU border cities. A new business model for Ukraine involves the purchase or lease of commercial premises with the possibility of adaptation to one’s own business, as well as a unified management and operation system.
