The state oil production company “Ukrnafta” is intensifying the drilling of wells in the west of Ukraine
This was reported by Ukrnafta General Director Serhiy Koretskyi on April 7
According to him, they will drill at the Verkhnyomaslovetsky field in the Lviv region.
“Preparatory works are already underway at the sites. The first well with a depth of 2213 meters will be exploratory. It should reveal promising deposits of three horizons, the estimated throughput of the well is 42 tons per day,” Koretskyi said.
In total, this deposit will have five new inclined and horizontal wells. The company will drill two of them with the help of its own equipment, three more – with the involvement of external contractors selected at the tender.
Ukrnafta drilled the previous well at the Verkhnyomaslovetsky field at the end of 2021. Its daily productivity was 29 tons of oil.
