During the second week, testing of cashless fare payment continues on three bus routes of public transport No. 1A, 3A and No. 10. And every day an increase in the number of passengers validating their travel using LeoKart preferential transport cards or contactless bank cards with a chip or other devices with NFC support is recorded.
“At the stage of testing cashless fare payment on three bus routes, it is important that all passengers learn how to use validators and feel comfortable in public transport,” said the LKP “Lvivavtodor”.
In particular, owners of LeoKart preferential transport cards must validate their journey by entering the vehicle. When validating a transport card, you must wait for a single sound signal and a green tick on the validator. This is evidence that the passage is validated and you can enter the interior of the vehicle.
After all, an unvalidated preferential transport card LeoKart does not give the right to free travel.
Passengers paying contactless with a contactless bank card with a chip or other NFC-enabled device should only look for a green tick on the validator and a single beep to ensure validation. This is confirmation of travel validation.
At the same time, it is worth remembering that travel funds are not debited from the bank account instantly. After all, the ASOP system is built on the basis of delayed authorization and withdrawal of funds takes place over several days.
We would like to remind you that during the entire test period of cashless fare payment, the Lvivavtodor LCP control will work on the lines of routes #1A, 3A and 10. Currently, control officers do not issue fines, but only carry out educational activities – they help people to validate LeoKart discounts, pay for travel contactless or in cash from the driver.
