Yesterday, half a thousand energy workers eliminated the consequences of bad weather in the Lviv region

Heavy snow sticking to power grids, gusts of wind, tree branches falling from outside the protection zones of power transmission lines caused blackouts in various areas of Lviv region.

99 “Lvivoblenergo” brigades, consisting of 425 workers, used 148 pieces of equipment to restore electricity supply. This was reported in the press service of Lvivoblenergo.

Remember the rules of electrical safety during bad weather: do not get closer than eight meters to the place of the broken wire of the power transmission line, because you can get a fatal electric shock.

You need to leave the dangerous zone with a “goose step” – bring your feet together, do not separate them from each other and from the ground, and move with small sliding steps.

Organize the protection of the place of the broken wire so that no one gets there until the arrival of the Lvivoblenergo emergency brigade.

If you see damaged power lines, immediately report the situation by calling 0-800-30-15-68 (24/7, free of charge) or other call center numbers: 067-333-15-68, 050-460-15-68 , 093-170-15-68, (032) 290-75-68.
