Resident of Pustomyty gets 10 years in prison for selling drugs and psychotropics

Following a public prosecution by prosecutors of the Pustomyty District Prosecutor’s Office, a 28-year-old local resident was found guilty of illegal sale of psychotropic substances and narcotic drugs (parts 2, 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of all property.

Prosecutors proved that in July 2022, the defendant was engaged in the sale of amphetamine, cannabis and PVP.

To do this, he packaged the prohibited substances in ziplock bags and placed them in the Lviv region. After that, he sent photos with location marks to his “clients” on the Internet.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.

The court verdict will come into force after the expiration of the appeal period.
