In Lviv, the police detained a 21-year-old drug addict with a whole arsenal of drugs and psychotropic substances
A resident of the Yavoriv district, who is suspected of selling narcotic substances and psychotropic substances throughout Ukraine, was exposed by the employees of the Cybercrime Prevention Office in the Lviv region together with the investigators of the Lviv district police department No. 2 under the procedural guidance of the Frankiv district prosecutor’s office.
As the law enforcement officers established, the criminal ordered and received narcotics and psychotropic substances through the Internet, after which she packaged them and sold them to drug addicts.
On June 26, law enforcement officers detained her in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine on Kropyvnytskyi Square in Lviv while selling drugs.
During a cursory inspection, the police found and confiscated from the suspect about 150 psychotropic and narcotic tablets, 10 brands of “LSD”, psilocybin mushrooms, as well as other narcotics and packaging boxes.
Today, June 27, a search was conducted at the place of residence of the detainee, during which the police found and seized a large amount of narcotics and psychotropic substances, in particular, several dozen capsules of powerful drugs, about 700 narcotic and psychotropic tablets, psilocybin mushrooms, more than 200 brands of “LSD “, as well as zip bags with a white crystalline and powdery substance, etc.
Everything removed is directed to expert research.
The investigators informed the perpetrator of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of four to eight years.
A pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The law enforcement officers are establishing the channel of entry of drugs.
