The driver of a Volkswagen was killed in an accident in Lviv Oblast – the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident
The traffic accident occurred on June 11, around 08:00, on the Lviv-Sambir-Uzhhorod highway in the village of Vanyovychi, Sambir district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat, a 32-year-old resident of Stary Sambor, lost control, drove off the roadway and drove into a residential building.
The driver of the car died at the scene of the injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
