A 45-year-old man injured two people with a knife at Prymisky railway station in Lviv

The detainee, a 45-year-old resident of Rudnyi, faces up to eight years in prison for his crime.

On August 28, around 8:00 p.m., the police received a report from a 36-year-old resident of Vynniki that he had been stabbed while at the Primyski station.

The investigative team and other employees of police department #1 of Lviv district police department #2 worked at the scene of the incident.

The police established that a 34-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Sambir region, who was also stabbed, was with the applicant on the territory of the station.

As the law enforcement officers established, the victims had a conflict with a 45-year-old resident of Rudny, during which he stabbed them in the chest area. They were hospitalized.

The law enforcement officers carried out a complex of operational and search measures, studied the recordings of video surveillance cameras located within the framework of the “Safe Lviv Region” program, established the location of the intruder and promptly detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 121 (Intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of five to eight years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
