A 28-year-old resident of the district center was exposed by operatives of the criminal police together with investigators of the Stryi district police department, under the procedural guidance of the Stryi district prosecutor’s office.
The police documented the facts of the criminal’s sale of the narcotic drug “marijuana” to residents of the city and district.
Also, during the authorized search, the law enforcement officers discovered and seized from him drug-containing tablets “Subutex”, money obtained from illegal activities, packaging tools and other physical evidence. Everything seized was sent to the Lviv Research Expert Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for expert research.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police informed the intruder about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty that threatens the suspect is imprisonment for a term of up to ten years with confiscation of property.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect – detention with the possibility of bail.
