At the request of the investigator, approved by the Prosecutor of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the movable and immovable property of a company specialising in the production of concrete solutions was seized and transferred to the ARMA. The beneficiaries of which are brothers of two former MPs.
The company’s unaccounted-for material and technical assets include concrete production equipment, a hangar for storing bulk materials, as well as warehouse and office space.
The estimated value of these assets is almost UAH 16 million.
According to the investigation, a brick-making company owned by the brothers of former MPs in Lviv region evaded taxes.
For this purpose, the financial and reporting documentation reflected inaccurate information about the volume of manufactured and sold products, which was actually many times higher than the officially documented.
As a result, the state budget did not receive more than UAH 75 million in taxes.
The men were served a notice of suspicion of tax evasion (Part 3 Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In June and July of this year, the ARMA transferred an integral property complex, which includes three land plots, three non-residential premises, four cars, six special equipment objects, a production line – a brick-making workshop, corporate rights and property of 4 enterprises, as well as other property.
These assets are also owned by the same close circle of the sanctioned ex-parliamentarians. The estimated value of these assets is over UAH 600 million.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the State Bureau of Investigations in Lviv city, the operational support was provided by the SBU Office in Lviv region.
