Stolen in the Czech Republic: In Lviv region, border guards found a car wanted by Interpol
Border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment found a car stolen in the Czech Republic and wanted by Interpol. A 38-year-old native of Transcarpathia tried to cross the border at the checkpoint “Krakivets” in the stolen car.
During the control procedures, the Interpol database was triggered. It turned out that the car, made in 2004, was on the international wanted list.
Border guards notified the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau in Kyiv, which confirmed that the car was wanted by Czech law enforcement.
The car was handed over to the National Police.
