This morning, the border guards of the Lviv detachment at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint stopped a regular bus heading from Energodar to Warsaw for inspection.
One of the passengers – a 48-year-old citizen of Ukraine – attracted the attention of border guards and customs officials. She was invited for an additional interview and inspection.
It turned out that the woman was carrying a large amount of foreign currency under her clothes, in a specially made vest, hidden from control.
Currently, the funds are being counted, and all the circumstances of the offense are being established.
Based on this fact, the customs officials will draw up a report on the violation of customs rules, and the funds will be withdrawn according to the established procedure.
