The traffic accident occurred on August 9, around 4:00 p.m., on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Zubra, Lviv district
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the VAZ 21101 car, a 27-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi region, lost control, drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with the Chery Amulet car, which was driven by a 31-year-old resident of Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Chery Amulet, the driver of the VAZ 21101, and two of his passengers were injured and taken to a medical facility: a 25-year-old woman from the Zaporizhia region and a 30-year-old woman from the Kherson region.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of the Lviv region opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
