Recently, on the initiative of deputies Bohdan Tabak and Ihor Khomyak, the Sokal City Council accepted an appeal to the controlling and law enforcement authorities regarding the release of unknown substances into the Spasivka River, as a result of which the fish died.
Employees of the State Environmental Inspection, together with a representative of the Sokal City Council, conducted an investigation to confirm the fact of pollution of the Spasivka River.
In the course of a visual inspection of the depth of the terrain in the area from Klimat Plus LLC to the Spasivka River, state inspectors discovered the presence of an unknown substance with a specific odor.
Specialists of the Department of Instrumental and Laboratory Control of the Inspection took water and soil samples for laboratory research.
