A festive photo session was held for women from the “Unbreakable Mothers” center in Lviv

A pleasant event took place in the “Unbreakable Mothers” mother and child center, which was built in Lviv for pregnant displaced women who fled the war to our city. A festive photo session was arranged for the women and children who currently live there.

“We wanted to arrange something special for the women who currently live in the center. Pregnancy and childbirth are one of the most joyful and important stages in every woman’s life. Therefore, we helped moms capture these wonderful moments and organized a professional photo session for them. And they really liked this idea. They simply enjoyed the process and posed beautifully,” said the Lviv City Center of Social Services.

Employees of the professional photo studio Da4a helped the center of social services organize the event: they provided clothes. And the masters of the EgoStyle make-up school helped to do the make-up.

Currently, 12 mothers live in the Center: eight of them have already given birth to children, four women are expecting. All these women moved to Lviv from Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions. There are also 20 children in the center with their mothers: two preschoolers, eight infants and ten schoolchildren. Three families have many children.

We will remind you that the “Unbreakable Mothers” mother and child center is two two-story houses for pregnant displaced women, with a total area of 1,300 m2, which were built in the Glynyansky Tract area. The houses were assembled on site from wooden structures, the experience from the USA was adopted. In total, more than 100 people – pregnant or giving birth with children who have the status of internally displaced persons – will be able to live there at the same time. Sidewalks, observation and children’s playgrounds, and a lake are arranged next to the housing. A contract is signed with each mother, which defines the term and conditions of residence.
