The director of a vocational college in the Lviv region was exposed for a bribe of 75 thousand hryvnias for admission to study

Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the director of one of the educational institutions was detained and reported on suspicion of extortion (Part 3, Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the head of one of the vocational colleges of the region demanded UAH 75,000 for a positive solution to the issue of enrolling an underage student in a budget form of education. The man was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine after receiving the stipulated amount.

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigators of the National Security Service in the Lviv region based on the materials of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
