The Zolochiv district prosecutor’s office ensured participation in the court’s consideration of the protocols on bringing the head of the state enterprise to administrative responsibility. According to the court’s decision, the official was found guilty of violating the procedure for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest (parts 1, 2 of article 172-7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The prosecutors proved that the director of one of the state institutions of the Lviv Region did not report the existence of a real conflict of interests. The man made a decision in the conditions of the conflict – he signed letters about awarding himself.
Subsequently, the employee systematically performed the above actions.
Thus, the court found the man guilty of a conflict of interest and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine in the amount of two hundred tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.
In accordance with the requirements of Art. 289 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, a complaint against a decision on an administrative offense may be filed within ten days from the date of the decision.
