Hiding in a car: the evader was again detained at the “Shegin” police station

At the Shegin checkpoint in the Lviv region, one passenger played hide-and-seek (lost), the other pretended to be invisible. Both were preparing to leave for Poland.

While entering the territory of the checkpoint, the 23-year-old passenger hid behind the back seat and did not present documents for control. However, during the inspection of the car, the border guard found a man.

In another case, the Ukrainian also hid behind the seat. However, when the minibus pulled into the checkpoint, the man got out and quietly headed towards Poland, bypassing passport control. The border guards let the man know that he was visible.

During the conversation, the border guards found out that the men had no reason to cross the border under the legal regime of martial law.

Persons were not allowed to cross the border and were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Regarding the transporters, the border guards of the Lviv detachment sent a report to the National Police, in their actions there are signs of the crime provided for in Art. 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.”
