Under the procedural leadership of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv, a 46-year-old man from Lviv was exposed and charged with illegal acquisition, storage and sale of narcotic drugs (Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect organized the sale of drugs on the territory of the Frankiv district.
A man living in one of the district’s apartment buildings organized the sale of cannabis directly at the entrance of his apartment.
The law enforcement officers detained the suspect in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine after the sale of another “dose” of drugs.
During searches of the suspect’s place of residence, bundles with prohibited means, cash and drafts prepared for sale were discovered and seized.
At the prosecutor’s request, the detainee was remanded in custody.
Investigative actions are ongoing, the issue of appointing a number of examinations is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv Region.
Note: in accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
