A 59-year-old woman from Lviv was detained under the procedural guidance of the Frankivska District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv. She was informed of the suspicion of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on October 26, around midnight, the suspect stabbed her ex-husband.
It was previously established that the couple broke up, but continued to live together. They often had conflicts. During another quarrel, the woman took a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the chest area with it.
The victim died at the scene from his injuries.
Investigative actions are ongoing, currently a petition is being prepared for the detention of the detainee.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
