The mayor of Chervonograd offers to fire his deputy, who is suspected of bribery

On July 13, the deputy mayor of Chervonograd was detained – suspected of bribery.

Mykola Mysak, the 64-year-old deputy mayor of Chervonograd, was found guilty of bribery on Thursday, July 13. The detention was carried out by employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police. The information about the detention of Mykola Mysak was confirmed by the mayor of Chervonograd Andriy Zalivskyi.

Due to the events that took place on July 13, in accordance with the signed memorandum of understanding between the Chervonograd City Council and the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, I propose to consider at the regular meeting of the session, which will be held on July 20, the draft decision on the dismissal of the deputy mayor Mykola Mysak – he noted in his city mayor Andrii Zalivskyi’s Facebook page.

About Mykola Mysak

Mysak Mykola Ivanovych was born on December 7, 1959 in the village of Mezhyrechye of the Sokal district of the Lviv region.

In the period from 2001 to 2002, he worked as the head of the VKB of Techconsulting LLC.

From 2002 to 2005, he was the first deputy mayor of Chervonograd.

From 2005 to 2006, he was the head of the Chervonograd United State Tax Inspectorate.

From 2006 to 2008, he was the head of the State Tax Inspectorate in Chervonograd.

From 2008 to 2009, deputy mayor of Chervonograd.

From 2009 to 2010, he was the first deputy mayor of Chervonograd.

Since July 2010, the head of the Sokal District State Administration.

2006-2009 Deputy of the Chervonograd City Council.

In 2010, President Yanukovych appointed Mykola Mysak to the position of chairman of the Sokal RDA.
