The traffic accident happened on August 11 at around 19:00 on the highway between the villages of Khlivchany and Prystan.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Audi SUV, a 36-year-old resident of the city of Belz, failed to control the vehicle – the car drove off the roadway. As a result of the road accident, passengers – residents of the city of Chervonograd, aged 41 and 44, were injured. They were taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of police department No. 2 of the Chervonograd district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
