In Lviv region, a minor motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car – police are establishing the circumstances
The road accident occurred on 20 June, around 14.00, in the village of Butyny, Chervonohrad district.
Law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that a Renault Duster driven by a 57-year-old local resident collided with a Spark motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old resident of a village in the district.
As a result of the accident, a minor motorcyclist was injured and hospitalised.
Investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Chervonohrad District Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
