Fatal road accident in Drohobych district: rescuers unblocked the dead driver
On 28 September, at 12:14 a.m., it was reported that near the village of Ripchytsi, Drohobych district, a driver had lost control, slid into a ditch and overturned.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Lviv Region.
The driver was killed in the accident. Rescuers working at the scene used hydraulic scissors and a clamp to unblock the body of the 24-year-old driver of the Nissan Primera from the mangled car. In order to prevent a fire, the rescuers disconnected the car’s battery.
Nine rescuers and two units of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
