In the Lviv region, investigations are ongoing regarding a recent case of intentional murder in the Stryi district. The crime occurred in one of the villages in the Drohobych district, where police found a man’s lifeless body on a homestead plot.
According to the police report, two guests of the homeowner were drinking alcoholic beverages at night. After the feast, a conflict arose between the 56-year-old and the 70-year-old men, resulting in the younger man stabbing the older man ten times with a knife, causing his death at the scene.
The perpetrator, who attempted to flee, was apprehended. He has been notified of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under the article on intentional murder, which threatens imprisonment ranging from seven to fifteen years.
The pre-trial investigation remains in an active phase, and the court will soon determine the preventive measure for the suspect.
