Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 30-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi Region was informed of suspicion of intentional murder (Part 1, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in 2019 the suspect went to work in the Republic of Poland.
During the celebration at one of the local holidays, in the territory of the Masovian Voivodeship, the man met a 25-year-old citizen of Ukraine. During the conversation, the girl said that she also came here for seasonal work.
After the holiday, the suspect offered to take the Ukrainian woman to a rented apartment.
However, on the way home, a conflict arose between them, during which the suspect began to hit the victim on the head with his hands. From another blow, the girl fell to the ground, and he continued to beat and kick her on the head and body, after which he strangled her. Immediately on the second day, the suspect left for the territory of Ukraine.
Thanks to the coordinated work of the law enforcement agencies, it was possible to collect a sufficient amount of evidence to notify the man of suspicion.
At the prosecutor’s request, the suspect was given the strictest preventive measure in the form of detention without the alternative of bail.
Investigations are ongoing.
