The perpetrator, whose official negligence caused serious consequences, was exposed by the investigators of the Chervonograd district police department together with operatives of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region under the procedural guidance of the Chervonograd district prosecutor’s office.
As the law enforcement officers established during the pre-trial investigation, the director of one of the state enterprises of the research farm of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, located in the territory of Lviv Oblast, sold more than 500 tons of rapeseed to the farm at a reduced price.
As a result of such actions, losses of more than 1 million hryvnias were caused to the state.
The investigators informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 2 of Article 367 (Official negligence that caused serious consequences) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
