A 31-year-old resident of the Stryi district, involved in the distribution of psychotropic substances “PVP” and “amphetamine”, was exposed by officers of the Stryi district police department
During an authorized search of the apartment where the perpetrator lived, law enforcement officers found and seized psychotropic substances “PVP” and “amphetamine”, zip packages, money obtained from illegal activities, as well as other material evidence. Everything withdrawn is sent for expert research.
Investigators informed the detainee about the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
According to the court decision, the malefactor is in custody. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
