Traffic Accident in Lviv Region: A Call for Caution on the Roads
In the past day in the Lviv region, two motorcyclists were injured as a result of traffic accidents, and one person died.

Details of Accidents in Drohobych and Novoyavorivsk
On April 27, at noon on Sambirska Street in Drohobych, a Hyundai Getz car driven by a 21-year-old resident of one of the local villages collided with a Mustang motorcycle operated by a 16-year-old resident of a neighboring village.
Ten minutes after this accident, in the city of Novoyavorivsk on Lvivska Street, a Mercedes-Benz car driven by a 43-year-old resident of Yavoriv District collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by a 20-year-old local resident.
In both cases, the motorcyclists sustained injuries and were taken to hospitals. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanctions of the article is imprisonment for up to three years, with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Police are establishing the circumstances of the incidents.
