The traffic accident happened on April 5, around 6:50 p.m., on the Lviv-Krakowets highway in the village of Ivano-Frankove, Yavoriv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between an Opel Vivaro car driven by a 29-year-old local woman and a Kovi Advance motorcycle driven by a 15-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the minor motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Yavoriv district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
